Instructor Nicole Hofferth
Nicole found yoga and “Yoga on 45th ” in her search for a workout discipline that challenged her both physically and mentally. Nicole has many years of experience in movement as a professional dancer and with her study of martial arts. Nicole has earned a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo. In 2013, Nicole experienced a back injury that sidelined her from the traditional workouts that she was used to.
In October of 2015, Nicole began classes with Allison and the other wonderful teachers at “Yoga on 45th. ” She quickly fell in love with the practice and art of yoga! Yoga was a gift for her physically, mentally and spiritually. It brought the balance and beauty into her life that she was missing…
A year later, Nicole took a leap of faith and signed up for the 200-hour teacher training program at “Yoga on 45th .”
Nicole has a passion for helping people. She is fluent in sign language and spent over 10 years working with deaf adolescents with behavior disorders. She is currently active as a volunteer at Hospice of the Calumet Area.
Nicole is thrilled to be part of the “Yoga on 45th ” team and looks forward to learning, growing and developing into a seasoned yoga instructor.
Nicole’s mantra is based in the belief that “Life is too short and people are too important.”
