Covid 19

The studio will reopen on June 1 with limited class sizes and social distancing. The schedule will be set on a week to week basis, starting with a limited schedule. Our classes are restricted to a certain number of students and everyone will have to register on a first come, first serve basis. We will require students to wear a mask when entering and exiting the building and when you are not socially distant from one another. It is up to you when you are on your mat if you want to continue to wear a mask. If you are not wearing a mask during practice, please choose one of the mats in the rear of the room (if available) as a respect to our instructors. We ask for kindness and understanding of other students' preferences and for the precautions we are putting in place. 

Please bring your own props, especially a strap, as the studio props will not be available for use. 

Obviously, do not come to the studio if you feel sick in any way or have had social contact with someone with any illness. Covid 19 presents itself in many different forms.

The studio will be cleaned prior to and after class. You will be allowed to enter 15 minutes before the start of class.

Everyone will have to sign-up to attend all our classes and show up. There is a strict 2 hour window prior to class to cancel your registration. If you do not show up, you will be charged a credit for the class. We are a small business that is doing everything we can to make sure our studio can safely open and continue to stay open for our beloved community of students and teachers. Your cooperation and observation of our new protocols is essential to our success in this process. Please do not come to class unless you have first registered online. There is also an option to live stream the class if we do not have space available or if you prefer to stay home. Make sure you sign-up for the correct class as there are two options, online and in the studio.

The schedule is subject to change at this time and will be updated on Sundays, please check it often. You will be required to sign the online waiver every time you register unless you sign into your account using this link. (top right hand corner.) You will have to use the email address you gave when first attending the studio (if given). You can view your classes and attendances. All class passes will be extended.

Beginners Yoga

Complete beginners should check out one of our beginner classes. Just show up 15 minutes before the start of class and we’ll show you around. The very basics of yoga are taught in beginner classes with a focus on basic alignment and breathing.


Candlelight Restorative Yoga

Relax and rejuvenate and connect with your Being in our Candlelight Restorative yoga class. Most of the poses are done on the floor, using props. Due to the restrictions of covid 19, you may bring your own pillow and blanket. Suitable for all yoga levels.


Hatha Yoga

This is a mixture of yoga styles. Suitable for those who have tried some beginner yoga and would like try something a little more challenging. Please try our variety of teachers as they all have their own style of teaching hatha yoga.


Flow Yoga

Flow yoga is more physically demanding. We move from one posture to another integrating the breath. It develops strength, stamina and flexibility. It is preferable to have some knowledge of the poses before taking a flow class. Flow yoga builds strength and flexibility quickly but it is not suitable for those with injuries or those with limited yoga knowledge. Hatha yoga classes can prepare you for flow classes. Flow classes have less instruction than hatha due to the nature of the practice.


Core Strength Yoga

Core strength yoga is suitable for those with some yoga experience, and an acceptable knowledge of the poses is recommended. This class is more physically demanding as it incorporates core work and long holds to build strength and stamina.


Muscle Melt Yoga

This class is good for everyone no matter what their yoga experience. It is a pop-up class that is not always on the schedule.  We will target specific muscles softening and releasing the fascia around them, followed by stretching. This is an excellent class for people with limited mobility, athletes wanting to improve performance and those wanting to improve their general range of motion. You are never too old or too young to move without pain. Taught by a licensed Trigger Point Therapist.



Meditation and Mindfulness

Meditation is one of the eight limbs of yoga and is a perfect complement to any posture-based yoga class. The physical, mental and emotional benefits of a regular mindfulness and meditation practice are innumerable. Benefits can include better sleep, less stress and anxiety and improved concentration. This class is for anyone who wants to start a meditation practice or compliment their already existing one. This class is a pop up class. Check the online schedule for availability.


Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is suitable for all levels. The focus is on complete relaxation and the entire class takes place lying on the floor. It is a great way to de-stress, relax and increase awareness. It is the perfect complement to a meditation practice, and a way to learn about yoga beyond the physical asanas. ('asana' is Sanskrit for poses). We usually offer this class approximately once a month.
